UpRising - DevLog #2


Hello everyone!

This week we will share with you some details of the Game Design of our game, as well as some videos demonstrating the prototype mechanics.

As you have already noticed, our game will be a Stealth / Narrative-Driven, so the main Game System of our game will be "Stealth".


This Game System has 3 mechanics "Hiding" referring to hiding from enemies, "Sneaking" referring to passing by enemies without being seen and "Diversion" referring to distraction tactics used to go unnoticed.

The Game System also has 3 Player Skills, these being "Timming / Reflexes", "Dexterity" and "Balancing Decisions"; with two Atomic Parameters each, these being "Anticipation Time" and "Window of Opportunity", "Mevement Behavior" and "Number of Antagonists", "Risks VS Rewards" and "Strategy VS Tactics", corresponding.

Showing the mechanics a little more visually, I leave here videos demonstrating them, keep in mind that none of the assets present are made by Exit Studio and are just free assets from the internet to serve as placeholders.

These are the game mechanics prototypes that we have implemented so far, but keep in mind that these may be changed or removed depending on the course of the project.
